Hi
Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach
The hotel environment is good, quite, has beautiful seaview. The room
that I stayed is big, clean and comfortable. We booked double bed
room but ended with 1 king size bed plus 1 single bed. From the room
balcony, I could enjoy the nice seaview. The hotel staff are friendly
but only with limited English speaking. Only the hotel owner could
speak better English. The hotel is bit far from famous and happening
Chaweng Beach. Don t ever think of walking to Chaweng Beach from this
hotel. You should take a taxi (should be quite expensive) or rent
a motorbike to get there. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach
The location of the bungalow is great with sea front view (right on
the cliff). Resort staff service attitude is good ,very responsive
and enthusiastic. However, vehicle rental and laundry service price
is not competitive. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach
Since it was the third time I stayed at Hi Coral Cove, in 1992, 1997
and now in 2006, the resort everything grows up better. The new swimming-pool
ist very nice to relax. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
Lovely cabin on the beachfront with impressive views of sun and moon
rise over the rocks and sea. Steep sloped site with plenty of stairs
but that s why all cabins have a view. Beach is a bit rocky at low
tide but very pleasant otherwise - might be a bit crowded at peak
season but Lamai beach is very close. Helpful owner will happily arrange
for scooter/jeep hire. In low season, restuarant doesn t appear to
be open after breakfast but didn t matter as others were so close
to walk to - also nice to be away from Chaweng and Lamai but still
close enough (10 mins) by vehicle. Good value for money. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
We had booked two nights. Because of many reasons we decided to stay
only one night. One thing was that we found the information about
the hotel incorrect, for example there was no TV and no mini bar.
In the hotel information they inform about: a magical underwater paradise…
This was the main reason why we booked this place. The beach was OK,
but it was very difficult to get into the water because of a lot of
rocks, and some of them were sharp and slippery. We asked two different
persons in the reception how to get into the water. None of them had
been into the water themselves and had no ideas about how to get into
it. They advertise the hotel as a magical underwater paradise and
don’t know anything about it – strange… But the main reason to why
we checked out earlier was because the room was unclean and filthy.
It was a lot of dust on the floor, broken lamps (4 in our room), a
lot of ants (about 40-50) and a big cockroach in the bed. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
Not a bad place to stay but then not the best place either for the
money you pay. It s right on the water and has awesome views but there
is only a coral/sand beach at high tide and the rocks are just below
the surface. Breakfast is good. Rooms - very bare and need of a redo
(the resort is more than 20 years old and the rooms haven t been touched
in 10 years). Also there is NO TV in the room as stated on the website
- not a big deal for us but still misleading. The staff are great
however I m not a hugh fan of the owner/manager. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
If you want a break from a busy city lifestyle, this is it. I stayed
in a double A/C bungalow with a lovely terrace which made a for great
place to read a book and relax. The beach itself was rocky and at
this time of the year not that great for swimming but still a great
spot regardless. The family who runs this bungalow is very nice and
friendly, too. |

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
Great service and clean bungalows. Jip the receptionist was very helpful
and spoke great english. The hotel staff was very friendly. We had
originally booked the cheaper Bungalow 1 but decided to upgrade to
the Bungalow 2. Enjoyed waking up to the beautiful bay view each morning.
After visiting Chaweng and Lamai we were thankful that we decided
to stay at Coral Cove to avoid the hustle and bustle of all the tourists.
Anytime we wanted to go out, we simply hopped on our motorcycle and
drove 10 min to either Chaweng or Lamai. Would definitely stay here
again. |
