Samui Resort, Ban Tai
When i first arrive at the hotel I was upsad, cause of the beach was
not safe to swim, but the staff made me very welcome. In the end I
had a wonderful holiday and ready to go back next year. |

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, good food. But the hotel is
in the middle of nowhere, the only way to get in and out is by taxi.
During our staying there were only 2 more rooms occupied, the rest
is empty. Located on a windy side of the island, beach is clean. Nice
views of sunset. |

My family and I have spent 8 wonderfull days at Koh Samui Resort.
Location is now unique in Koh Samui; it is very peacefull and there
is only few people on the beach. The view is breathtaking with sunset
on the Angthong islands and koh Phangan. The bungalows are exquisitely
furbished with AC, TV and free internet access; nice bathroom with
hot water, all very clean. The garden and swimming pool are both very
nice and refreshing when the heat is too strong. The service is very
good, the staff is always smiling and helpfull. The restaurant offers
good thai and european cooking for a decent price, there are also
other restaurants at walking distance. We definitely recommend a stay
at Koh samui resort. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai
A most pleasant experience. The resort provides a very peaceful and
relaxing setting with beautiful gardens, a larhe swimming pool and,
of course, a beach. Our room (deluxe villa) was very generous, very
clean and comfortable, with a large terrace and an outdoor shower
(in addition to the regular indoor shower). The rooms was airconditioned
and equipped with a fridge inclusive mini bar, televison (cable service)
and telephone. All rooms are built around a beautiful swimming pool.
The resort removed from main traffic arteries. Entertainment and shopping
centres like Chaweng or Bo Phut can be reached by Samui-Taxis, metered
taxis, or by self-drive cars or motor bikes inside of 30 minutes travel.
We chose to walk to the main road, about 15 minute walk, and catch
a Samui-Taxi. This was fun and allowed us to see a little more of
main stream Koh Samui and its people. All resort staff were very professional,
friendly and helpful. Bar facilities and restaurant were competitively
priced and had an excellent selection of cuisine and drinks, including
cocktails. Food quality, quantity and bar service were well on par
with that of 5 star facilities elsewhere on the island. The restaurant
and bar setting overlook the ocean and make for a romantic evening
meal and or drinks. Food and drinks are prepared expertly. The cheerful
reception personnel will organise a large range of tours, safaris
and taxi services as well as the hire of motor bikes, self-drive cars
and chauffeur driven cars. A variety of different massages, manicures
and pedicures are available by the pool. An experience we will cherish
for a long time and the next time we need to chill out again, Koh
Samui Resort will be on our list. My only regret was that my Thai
language skills were non-existing. Thankfully, most resort staff spoke
enough English so that we could get by. In summary, what made the
difference for us were the quiet location of the resort and above
all the staff. Their attitude, helpfulness and friendly smiles made
us feel like we were part of the family. |

This hotel was perfect. Far away from the crouded an awfull Chaweng
area, but close enough to the other points of interest. The rooms
are very nice and big, free internet is also available. Restaurant
prices are quite high though, but you can rent a scooter for only
200BHT per day to go out for dinner and tourism. We certainly are
going back there! |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai
Very personal and secluded resort. The kids loved the pool although
there wasn´t any children area. Small reef by the beach. A little
overpriced compared to other resorts we visited but we went back for
another 3 nights before our journey back home because of the friendly
atmosphere and the FANTASTIC food. |
