Shmulik Kastro  2007-09-28 until 2007-10-03	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Nice hotel in chaweng beach. The hotel is located on the beach, and is very close to the center that offers a variety of restaurants, shops, markets and other tourist services such as ATM, tourist offices and rental cars/motorcycle. The rooms are very basic and simple. We took 2 bedrooms: double and triple beds. We had several problems in the rooms such as no hot water in the bathroom or malfunctioning air-condition. The staff were nice and they had fixed the problems quickly. Breakfast is very goog. They offer a large variety of thai and western food. There is not enough towels in the swimming pool, and not enough tanning beds in the beach. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice, and offers very delicious food. It is not cheap but the atmosphere is very pleasant and dinner is served on the beach accompanied with a singer performing western songs. There is a wireless network in the restaurant.

The location is great and we found it great value for the price, no wonder it was full! We highly reccommend it and will look forward to steying in the new pool villas when they are compleated.
Sandra Eschberger  2007-07-04 until 2007-07-13	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Ein ganz nettes hotel leider zur Zeit nicht zu empfehlen, da links und rechts gebaut wird. sehr laut! und abends werden auf diesem strand feuerwerksk๖rper verkauft und geschossen bis spไt in die nacht. und der strandabschnitt ist leider auch nicht so toll. schade, da das personal sehr zuvorkommend ist.

Charon Tsui  2007-04-29 until 2007-05-04	Montien House, Chaweng Beach The Hotel is in the heart of Chaweng beach but its away from the main road. So Just a few mins walk and you can get all you need. At the same time you can still have a good sleep at night that you won t hear any noise from bars. I booked a superior cottage and they gave me room 102. I stayed there alone so I think the space is large enough for me. The cottage is opposite to the reception and very close to the swimming pool and beach for just few steps. The interior decoration of the cottage is a bit old and just look like standard class but still clean and comfortable. I had never try the breakfast since I always got up late. I also have not much contact with the staff. So I can t make any comment on these. This hotel will be my first choice if I come again to Samui

The staff will help you out anytime and always with a smile! The bungalows could really need some renovation but the newer deluxe hotel rooms are in better condition. The garden islush and really nice(like a small rainforest!).The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfastbuff้ is also good. There are more sunbeds on the beach now and there were no problem to get one.

Dennis Meinekat  2007-02-11 until 2007-02-24	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Deluxe-Room nice and the hotel location very good, but people from restaurant not helpful and fishy, maid personal and the respetion helpful and friendly, beachchairs and umbrellaดs not enough. Guestดs with longterm become a other service as guest with shorterm stays. I can recommed this hotel but for breakfast and eating better guest going outside and become a better service and a better price.

Best location on Chaweng Beach, as it is close to all the shops but off the street so not too noisy. Good food at the restaurant and great staff. They went out of their way to arrange anything we wanted. Airport pickup went hassle free. Our friends spent three times as much to stay somewhere else but spent all their time at Montien House. We ve already recommended it to a flight attendant on the way home. We will definitely return.
