Samui
Island Beach Resort & Hotel, Chaweng Beach
Hotel was very quiet, mostly because it is was back behind several
others and it was hard to get to. Coming back from town at night you
have to walk down a very dark and deserted ally to get to hotel. I
had to change rooms because air conditioner not working. A/C quit
working in the next room after 3 days. I was not happy with my accomodations
also because a family of tree frogs lived by my door and they kept
me awake at night. They were very loud. I had to leave a day early
and they would not refund for the day I did not use, and made me pay
3oo baht for a ride back to the airport. I will not stay at Samui
Island Resort again. The pool was not very clean, and during the day,
the tide was out and it was several hundred yards to the waters edge.
The food in the restaraunt was very expensive and not that good. All
in all, I did not enjoy Samui Island Beach Resort & Hotel and I would
not recommend to anyone. |

Very nice accomodation for this price. Is is really not far into the
beach. It was not more than 1 minute to get there from out bungalow.
Location is in the north of Cheweng therefore it is ideal for people
which are looking for quiet place. In next trip we will select some
other accomodation close to main Cheweng beach life where all beach
estaurants, ski and surf rentals and bars are located. Hotel should
improve their breakfast offer where no cheese or smoked-meat products
was available (except sausages). |

We had a very pleasant stay at Samui Island Resort. The staff were
very polite and friendly and the resort was well kept. We stayed in
the hotel part of the resort for 2 nights and then a bungalow for
the remaining night. (Neither of these were the rooms we had booked
but both were good.) The hotel room was lovely, the bungalow was basic
but clean. We took our 3 year old with us who loved the pool but we
did find the surface area round the edge of the pool a bit rough -
watch out! The view from the pool and restaurant out across the bay
was beautiful. A peaceful spot on a busy island! |

We had a great stay at the hotel. The manger and the staff were excellent.
The hotel is very comfortable and good value for money. There were
no beach umbrellas with sun beds thats the only complaint ! very nice
experience |

We stayed at the bungalow which was pretty ok. The room was clean
and staff was great at the hotel. The hotel isnt in the center of
Chewang beach but its only 15min walk to center. The place was quiet
and got good sleep in there. |

Superior Bungalow Sea View of the hotel was so beautiful that my family
enjoy it very much. It was so close to the beach, swimming pool, resturant,garden...
that we love it very much. We had a lot of fun during our stay in
Samui. The hotel was very hospitable. We hope to stay in deluxe bungalow
sea view which would be closer to the sea so that we could listen
to the wave to dream. |

Hi, I really liked Samui Island resort, it was in north Chaweng, but
it only took 15 min walk on the beach to get into the central area.
The room and bungalows was maybe a little bit vary, but the poolarea
was excellent. I would recomend this place and friendly staff. They
where so nice when I ordered a special breakfast to my moms birthday,
they really made our day!! Thank you ever so much!! If I come to Samui
again I am going to choose the same place. |

Tha basic accomodation is very basic indeed. This appears to be a
marketing excercise to get people to upgrade to more expensive rooms.
A basic doss for backpackers and youngsters on a tight budget. We
moved out immediately. |

Very nice place to stay if you want to be 10 min away from city noice
and party. You need to walk about 20 min to get to a nice place at
the beach - but the pool at the resort does ok if you like that. Staff
is friendly and very helpfull. Place we could stay again! |
