Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
I have stayed at Samui Paradise Chaweng on a number of occasions. The fact that I have returned there each time I have visited Thailand is no accident, this is an excellent resort (for the money). The staff are professional and friendly and add a great deal to the experience of staying at this resort. The resort is located at the southern end of Chaweng, the best part in my opinion, it is beautiful and quiet. Having said that it is only a short ride into the centre of Chaweng and a short walk to the many restaurants, shopping and bars at the southern end of Chaweng. The best of both worlds. The rooms on the beach are great (quite expensive relative to the other rooms but well worth it) the sea view rooms are very nice as well. The so called garden cosy rooms are fine too but definitely a big step down from the beach front, sea view and pool view rooms. I recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday at a resort close enough to the action is if that is what you want but far enough away if you just want to do nothing. This resort is currently undergoing renovations and I look forward to visiting when they are complete.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
The resort was located on the most beautiful part of Chaweng beach (maybe a little bit far away from the action if that is what you are after - about a 15 minute walk). We stayed in a Deluxe Seaside Villa. It was a great new, spacious and clean room. The resort was not too big and had a romantic and private feel. A few criticisms in relation to our room - the gaps in the beams in the ceiling let in mosquitos at night and the lighting in the bathroom was minimal resulting in an impossibility to do makeup, look for clothes in suitcases etc. The major problems were we barely ever had hot water and the attitude of the staff. In relation to the cold water problem, we had a resort engineer in our room for up to 1.5 hours for 3 out of the 5 nights and the problem was not fixed. In relation to the staff, they were the most unfriendly of any resort in which we have stayed. There were no hellos, smiles and there were no apologies in relation to the cold water problem. I requested to speak to the manager who obviously ignored my requests and never contacted me. The resort is apparently being renovated shortly so hopefully the problem will be fixed. I would stay there again as long as the water problem was fixed and the staff learnt some basic hospitality skills.

Jo and I enjoyed ourselves very much while staying at the resort. All the staff, including the receptionists, waitors, and cleaning ladies are very helpful and cheerful. We particularly would like to thank the Front Office Manager, Mr Wisil Pattanasing, for his warm welcome, enthusiasm. and help during our stay. We stayed at the seaview room. It is great with modern decoration and is very clean. The room is large enough to move around, with lots of greenery around the balcony. The location in the south of Chaweng gives a credit as it is very quiet. We would certainly come again the next time we come to Samui. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Nice quiet spot on beach. Definitely recommend upgrading from garden room as it s small, hot and up the back of the resort. It s about 15 mins walk to town so we hired motorbikes from out the front for 200 bht a day.

9 days in paradise. We have enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice clean bungalows, friendly staff and a restaurant with good food. Great beach with white sand. We will definately stay at this hotel again.

the location on south end of chaweng beach is the greatest asset, samui paradise has! our bungalow was nice and always clean. the garden and beach gave us a very relaxed feeling. the staff of restaurant and bar is the real weakness of samui paradise. their command and understanding of english is poor at best. which really is a shame as the food and drinks are quite good.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Ideal location on the best bit of the beach - far away enough from all nightlife etc but easy to get to if you want to!! Resort is lovely and staff really friendly and helpful - rooms clean! If visiting chaweng beach again would definately stay at samui paradise again!x

Great location - away from noise of the village but close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride. Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful. Beach, pool, bar, restaurant were all excellent. However... we had a large group and anyone who stayed in the Sea View Villas or Cosy Garden Bungalows was disappointed. Although clean, these rooms were small, shabby and generally unappealing. There was a world of difference in the Grand Sea View Villa in which we stayed... spacious, floor-to-ceiling teak, comfortable king-size bed, large windows and natural light. I would recommend staying ONLY in these rooms or the Beach Front Villas.
