Waterfront, Bophut Beach
We have initially booked only two nights, but we extended our stay
there for most of our 2-week honeymoon trip. Waterfront is located
in an active, but less crowded area of Koh Samui. A pretty looking,
very relaxing, comfortable, family run boutique hotel. Right next
to the beach, with great views of the sea and the nearby Koh-Phangan
island. The service is superb: the owners and staff do everything
possible to make you feel at home. Sue and Robin were not only friendly
and helpful, but they also got us out of trouble a few times, for
instance drove us to the pier when we risked missing a boat trip!
It is not a full-featured hideaway resort, but then it does not need
to; one can stroll around the neighborhood and find plenty of beach
side restaurants and bars to choose from. I would wholeheartedly recommend
this place to anyone as the perfect stress-relief location. |

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront. Views are lovely, the
only down side was the sea is unsuitable for swimming but even so
there are plenty of other beaches where you can swim. All the staff,
Sue and Robin are really nice and make you feel very welcome. |

The Waterfront Hotel is a fabulous place to stay on Koh Samui. Robyn
and Sue are most welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel
at home. The rooms are immaculately clean, neat, tidy and comfortable.
The staff are great and the atmosphere is relaxing. We would highly
recommend The Waterfront at Bohput if you wanted to be out of the
hustle and bustle of Chaweng and enjoy a hassle free totally relaxing
holiday. Thanks Robyn, Sue and Michael for your fantastic hospitality.
See you again. |

A lovely relaxing hotel at the far end of Bophut beach, very close
to Fishermans village and lots of great restaurants. The staff were
brilliant, so friendly and helpful and spoilt for choice with the
breakfast. Little touches like tea and coffee, DVD player etc in the
room made it feel very homely and the daily cleaning of the room couldn
t be faulted. An excellent little hotel with a perfect location....ill
be back soon! |

We have just had 5 weeks stay with Robin and Sue at the Waterfront
in Bophut.Wonderful holiday at a great hotel. 10 out of 10 for location,
room, staff (wonderful) and food. Our first vist to Samui but we will
be back. Only 1 complaint and not connected to the hotel in any way.But
too many Brit type bars in the village, I mean who wants wall to wall
sport, (and iam a rugby fan). When will the bar owners wake up to
the fact that we want entertainment on our holiday not sport. But
that apart cannot praise the waterfront enough. Thanks Robin and Sue.

Waterfront, Bophut Beach
We loved our stay at the Waterfront--lovely garden, pool, and eating
areas with lots of coconut palms; clean, simply decorated rooms; cheerful,
helpful staff; wonderful view and feeling, being right on the beach
(though when we were there, one could not go in the ocean right in
front of the hotel due to danger of coral cuts--but my daughter found
a nice place to swim a short way down the beach); nice, small village
right outside the grounds to walk and browse in, with many good restaurants.
Robin and Sue were superbly gracious hosts, always checking to see
if there was anything they could do for us, and the bartender/nightguard,
Banjont, was a great addition--always there to help, hang out with
comfortably, and give a feeling of security from 8pm to 7am every
night. Especially after a rather exhausting tour of Bangkok and Northern
Thailand, the laid-back peacefulness of the Waterfront and Bophut
were deeply appreciated. I highly recommend it for a restful ending
to a Thailand trip--or as a destination in itself. |
