CoCo Cottage - Trang, Koh Ngai
Our Seaview Bungalow was very nice and the only two things not perfect were the very small and weak fan and the moscito net which had a lot of wholes. The restaurant service was really great, professional and friendly. In contrary, the high-speed internet didnt work at all for yahoo France and gmx Germany. We lost a lot of time and couldnt even not check our emails.

Ekman Garden Resort - Nakorn Si Thammarat
When returning after a year I find the resort as friendly and familylike as I remembered. The food is sill as fantastic. It felt like coming home. So much so it was hard restraining myself from taking the dishes out at wash it mayself. I stayed for for days first and then returned for the Song Kran. At the first visit I participated in a wedding that was arranged between a japanese girl and a thai boy and the experience was outstanding. The same can be said about the visit to the temple at Song Kran. I was treated with utmost respect and as I am a simple person that was a memory for a lifetime. Visiting a nearby beatiful waterfall it was clear that it was far from its full potential causted by lack of water, but to swim at the base was nice. On two occasions I took the 20 minute walk in the hot sun and could swim in the sea. Although the pool is nice, it can never compete with the real thing. Especially as it gives you the feeling of Robinson as you are almost totally alone. Which you cannot say of the bigger roads where you got wet as the new year was greeted with watersplashing. If I would have had time, I would probably take the chance of very cheap golf in Nakohn si Thammarath only 45 minutes away, but not this time. And as I am surely returning when my wallet permits, the occasion will arise again. Good work Ekmans

Koh Hai Fantasy Resort - Trang, Koh Ngai
Our visit to Koh Hai was really great. We staid in an Air-con dubble room. The view wasn t great from the room but the surroundings on Koh Hai is surely fantastic. The service in the restaurant was very good and we got our favorite waiter. Don t forget to try the wounderful banana pancakes in the resaturant up-beach Koh Hai Fantasy Resort!

Koh Mook Charlie Beach Resort - Trang, Koh Mook
The receptionists are not very service minded. Our bathroom was not very pleasant thought as there was a urinal placed directly in front of the toilet. Nice breakfast and a very beautiful beach.

Laytrang Resort - Trang, Chang Lang Beach
I found the Laytrang Resort hotel very disappointing. I got no welcome, there was no atmosphere at all. The rooms were very basic and the service average at best.

Novotel Centara Hat Yai - Songkhla, Hat Yai
Definitely the right hotel in Hat Yai if you want comfort. Room is clean and everything works. Too bad there is no safety box inside the room. The Saturday Japanese buffet is worth the money, especially for the sashimi.

We found the Hotel very freindly, with good facilities and nicely decorated room. Excellent location for anything in Songkhla and area and would certainly stay at the Pavillion again.

Rajamangala Pavilion Beach Resort - Songkhla, Samila Beach
Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff (not many understand English though so was difficult explaining our requests and didn t always get what we asked for, but we got by). We stayed in a Superior Room which was clean and nicely furnished (simple & tasteful). Bathrooms were clean with spacious shower cubicles. The cable TV, mini-bar and free wi-fi all added to the relaxing feel. Would ve been great if rooms had its own tea/coffee facilities. Architecture and decor of hotel lobby & lounge is lovely - traditional Thai/colonial. The restaurant, The Chalatat, however could do with a bit of a revamp, i.e chairs would benefit from a reupholster, table mats & centrepieces should be replaced and stage area could do with a revamp as well. Other than that, the restaurant has a nice feel to it and food, we thought, was okay - not too much variety though. Had just one meal there and two breakfasts. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, pleasant stay in Songkhla. It s positoned right across the street from beautiful Samila beach - long stretches of white sand and beautiful warm Gulf waters. Stunning, peaceful place with a real opportunity to interact with the locals.

Thapwarin Resort - Trang, Koh Ngai
A really paradise resort !! Stayed only for two nights in Warin Cottage . The beach and crystal clear water is brilliant. Snorkeling from the beach at low tide. Clean and cosy. No pool. The staff didn t give us too much attention but we can t complain. We took a walk (200 meters)to the nearby resort ( Hill.. resort something) and took a swim in a pool with a breathtaking view.

The Cliff & River Jungle Resort - Khao Sok
Beautiful location, lovely bungalows. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. A little remote from Khao Sok National Park but the hotel organised transport for a small sum so it was no problem. Food was good, although not so spicey. Lack of written information on activities in the area so make sure you know in advance what you want to do. The hotel manager will organize everything for you. Highly recommended.

Twin Lotus Hotel - Nakhon Si Thammarat
City hotel with usual comfort, large rooms with everything one needs, quiet, the floor with some stains, but since the room is used for the night only, it is a very good choice.
